The super Tuscano that comes from a unique area in terms of soil type, microclimate and exposure deserves its own name: DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia. Bright raspberry in color, it has an elegance and a sense of elevation from the start – it’s beautifully balanced, refined and classic. The fresh cut and dried herbs of great Italian wines reveal themselves through the slow build on the palate, along with soft notes of tobacco and liquorice. It’s juicy and elegant, showing passion fruit and raspberry with a hangover of complexity.
